DCSR works to ensure that all candidates who meet the perceived standards necessary to be relevant to their clients, are given as much information and support as possible to make the application worthwhile and of value to all parties.
This extends to detailed examinations of the CV, thorough discussion with the candidate as to their requirements (geographically, career-wise, financially and personally), guidance as to the state of the market and its vertical sectors, mock interviews, research into the client and role, and accurate feedback.
DCSR works with a small number of high-calibre clients, all of whom have heard of us by word of mouth rather than been subject to sharp sales techniques on our part – we make every effort to maintain our comprehensive knowledge of each client, which should become obvious to the candidate during the process.
Because of our desire to remain dedicated to a specific sector of the market, we don’t deal with hundreds of candidates at any one time; you can be assured that if you meet the standards required, you will receive one-to-one attention from a specific consultant who is available for contact at all times for advice, feedback, help with the CV, answers to silly questions, negotiations and any other related requirements.
We are pleased to say that we remain in touch with almost all our candidates, whether successful or otherwise, as we refuse to tout CVs, hard sell, pressurise or stretch the truth about companies and roles. In return, we receive (and are grateful for) many referrals; some of these we can’t help directly, but we will endeavour to provide ideas of courses of action in all cases.
